This document is intended to provide cause and corrective action information about Siebel Error Message SBL-BPR-00202: The process property '%1' referenced by step recipient in step '%2' is not string type.

SBL-BPR-00202: The process property '%1' referenced by step recipient in step '%2' is not string type.

Explanation

Step recipients only take string values, and can not be associated with non-string type process properties.

Corrective Action

In Workflow/task designer, double click on the subprocess step where the step recipient is defined and go to the Step Detail View. In "Recipients" applet, edit the step recipient so that it references a string type process property.
