Purpose

This document is intended to provide cause and corrective action information about Siebel Error Message SBL-BPR-00201: The process property '%1' referenced by "View" field of step '%2' is not string type.

SBL-BPR-00201: The process property '%1' referenced by "View" field of step '%2' is not string type.

Explanation

The "View" field of a User Interact step can be associated with a process property, in the format of "[&PropertyName]", and hence set dynamically at runtime. The "View" field only takes string values and the process property referenced by the field has to be String type.

Corrective Action

Please edit the "View" field and ensure that it references a valid, string type process property of the workflow/task.
