This document is intended to provide cause and corrective action information about Siebel Error Message SBL-DAT-00598: The destination column of the join %1 in business component %2 to the Table %3 based on an external data source should be the column that is mapped to "Id".

SBL-DAT-00598: The destination column of the join %1 in business component %2 to the Table %3 based on an external data source should be the column that is mapped to "Id".

Explanation

An External Table should map one column to the "Id" field. This is done using the column property "System Field Mapping". This column should be the destination column of a join to the external table.

Corrective Action

Check Configuration and make sure that the destination column of a join to the External Table is the column mapped to System Field "Id".
