Symptoms

Statement of what the issue is:
Cannot connect to the Web Client. Error message encountered in SWSE logs

- SWSE Log:
Login failed for Login name : GUEST

Failed to obtain a session ID. Error al cargar el archivo de diccionario diccache.dat.

- OM log:
SBL-DAT-00593: Se ha producido un error al intentar buscar el valor de transcodificación para el código '' en la tabla 'S_LST_OF_VAL' y del tipo 'TIME_DESIGNATOR_POSITION' con el idioma 'ESN'.

Cause

Statement describing the cause of the problem
Checked the responsibilities assigned to the Guest User
The proof that this is the cause of the problem
checked with customer if the GUEST user has the correct responsibilities assigned. It was found out that these were missing

Solution

Hi Manuel,

as per your confirmation, the behavior has been resolved after assigning the Guest user the required Siebel responsibilities as per the Bookshelf documentation.

I will then conclude my work on this issue.
