Symptoms

Hello,

We have some questions about the Siebel Administrator Notification Component component:

    1) I have configured the System Alert Notification function to send an email when an error occured on the Siebel Server. This functionnality works fine but the component report an error ("SBL-ADM-09256: Traitement de la notification depuis le composant (%s), gestionnaires (%s)") after the notification is sent. Also, the component continue to work.
Is it normal that this component return an error?
How to configure this component to don't return this error?

    2) I would like to know if it's possible to change the content of notification email? (I would like to add some information on the text of the email)

For the benefit of other readers,

as background the Siebel Administrator Notification Component (AdminNotify) is a new component and was introduced in Siebel v7.7. The seen message "SBL-ADM-09256: Traitement de la notification depuis le composant (%s), gestionnaires (%s)" translates to "SBL-ADM-09256: Processing notification from component [%s], handlers [%s]".

The described behaviour could be reproduced and product defect 12-UCGO98 was filed to address the issue.
