Symptoms
SBL-ADM-01018From the Server Administration -> Tasks screen, if we query on a Task or Siebel Server that
does not exist, we get the following error message in a dialog:
(ssevent.cpp 14: 1396) error
code = -1, system error = 0, msg1 = (null), msg2 = (null), msg3 = (null), msg4 = (null).
To
reproduce:
- goto server admin -> Tasks view
- do a query
- enter a task number that
does not exist, i.e. 22222
- you will get the error message
Solution
Message 1
For the benefit of other readers:The customer applied the Siebel 7.5.3.15 FP and found the following error message in a dialog when querying for a Task or Siebel Server that does not exist.
(ssevent.cpp 14: 1396) error code = -1, system error = 0, msg1 = (null), msg2 = (null), msg3 = (null), msg4 = (null).
To reproduce:
- goto server admin -> Tasks view
- do a query
- enter a task number that does not exist, i.e. 22222
- you will get the error message
The reported behavior was reproduced when running on ENU language, but it worked fine when running on PTB language.
After applying the 7.5.3.15 QF0F21 it correctly displayed the following error message when a non-existing task was queried:
SBL-ADM-01018 Specified task does not exist
This unexpected behavior is related to the Change Request 12-1EXH2MK.
Kind Regards,
